Stayed 3 days for a conference. The room is nice and big with a comfortable bed. The carpet wasn’t the nicest and the lighting was very dim with only a couple of spotlights by the door and the bedside lamps to light the room. The hotel self service breakfast is good quality and range (cooked items, pastries, toast, waffles, cereal, fruit and yoghurt etc) and overlooking the river Tyne/bridge. There is also a small gym on the lower floor which was a nice addition. The conference centre itself was well kept. The dinner that was served as part of it was again of good quality and the service from staff very good. An enjoyable visit.
